A quick and easy 5-ingredient creamy buffalo chicken dip that’s perfect for parties and gatherings, delivering a tangy, spicy, and rich flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups (300 g) cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) buffalo hot sauce
  • 1 packet or 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese by beating it with an electric mixer or whisk for about 2 minutes until fluffy and smooth.
  3. Add the buffalo hot sauce and ranch seasoning to the cream cheese and mix until fully combined.
  4. Fold in the cooked shredded chicken gently with a spatula.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly browned on the edges.
  8. Let the dip rest for 5 minutes to thicken before serving.
  9. Serve warm with chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, pita bread, or other dippers.

Notes

If cream cheese is not soft enough, microwave for 15 seconds before mixing. Use a glass or ceramic dish to avoid soggy bottoms. Adjust buffalo sauce amount to control heat. Tent with foil if cheese browns too fast. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
