Tender chunks of chicken simmered in a rich, garlicky butter sauce, perfect for cozy evenings or quick-fix meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for richer flavor, avoid overcrowding the pan for even browning, and simmer the sauce gently to prevent curdling.
