Irresistible garlic butter mozzarella crescent rolls are the perfect combination of indulgence and simplicity, ideal for cozy evenings, quick snacks, or crowd-pleasing appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 8 small sticks or slices of mozzarella cheese (low-moisture preferred)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves minced garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • Freshly chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  3. Place one mozzarella stick or slice at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the cheese, starting from the wide end and working toward the tip. Pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  4. Arrange the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about an inch apart.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of garlic salt. Stir well to combine.
  6. Using a pastry brush, generously coat each crescent roll with the garlic butter mixture. Be sure to cover the tops and sides for maximum flavor.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for garnish (optional).
  9. Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, buttery perfection!

Notes

Seal the edges tightly to prevent cheese leakage. Use low-moisture mozzarella to avoid sogginess. Double the batch for larger gatherings.
