  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (whole and sliced)
  • Fresh raspberries (quantity as desired)
  • 6 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cacao)
  • White chocolate (optional, for drizzle)
  • Mini meringues (store-bought or homemade)
  • Freeze-dried raspberries (for crunch)
  • Red & pink macarons
  • 4 ounces cream cheese or mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • Edible flowers (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 pound of fresh strawberries gently and pat dry. Leave some whole for dipping and slice the rest for variety.
  2. Melt 6 ounces of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth and glossy, about 2-3 minutes total, or melt using a double boiler on low heat.
  3. Dip each whole strawberry halfway into the melted dark chocolate, let excess drip off, and place on parchment paper to set. Optionally, drizzle white chocolate over the dipped strawberries once set.
  4. In a small bowl, beat 4 ounces of softened cream cheese or mascarpone with 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup until smooth and fluffy. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. Arrange the board by placing chocolate-dipped strawberries in one corner, fresh raspberries and sliced strawberries in another, and scatter mini meringues and red & pink macarons around.
  6. Sprinkle freeze-dried raspberries over the cream cheese dip and around the board for tangy crunch. Garnish with edible flowers if desired.
  7. Fill any empty spaces with extra fresh berries or macarons to balance the visual appeal.

Notes

Prepare chocolate-dipped strawberries a day ahead and store in the fridge; bring to room temperature before serving to avoid condensation. Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to achieve glossy chocolate coating. Store meringues separately in an airtight container to maintain crispness. For vegan adaptation, use dairy-free cream cheese and vegan chocolate.
