A vibrant and easy-to-make mimosa bar featuring tropical juices of passion fruit, mango, and guava combined with sparkling wine for a refreshing brunch drink.

Ingredients

  • Passion fruit juice (freshly squeezed or high-quality bottled)
  • Mango juice (pure, no added sugar)
  • Guava juice
  • Sparkling wine or Champagne (dry or brut, e.g., Prosecco)
  • Fresh fruit garnishes: thin slices of mango, passion fruit seeds, guava wedges
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Optional: splash of coconut rum or flavored liqueurs
  • Optional: edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients (sparkling wine and juices) in the fridge for 2-3 hours before serving.
  2. Prepare fresh fruit garnishes by slicing mango thinly, cutting guava into small wedges, and scooping passion fruit pulp into a small dish.
  3. Set up the mimosa bar by pouring each juice into separate pitchers or bowls. Keep the sparkling wine in its bottle or a chilled carafe. Place ice cubes in a decorative bowl for easy access.
  4. To mix a mimosa, fill a glass about halfway with sparkling wine (4 fl oz / 120 ml).
  5. Add a splash (2 fl oz / 60 ml) of one or a combination of the tropical juices.
  6. Garnish with a slice of mango or guava on the rim and a spoonful of passion fruit seeds on top. Add a fresh mint leaf if desired.
  7. Pour juice slowly and gently to maintain bubbles. Stirring is optional but should be done lightly.
  8. If mimosa is too sweet, add a splash of sparkling water to lighten it without losing fizz.

Notes

Use freshly squeezed passion fruit juice if possible for best flavor. Keep all juices and sparkling wine well chilled to maintain bubbles. Pour sparkling wine first, then juices to avoid flattening. Avoid overfilling glasses to preserve fizz. For a non-alcoholic version, replace sparkling wine with sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
