A quick and easy cream cheese board featuring everything bagel seasoning, perfect for entertaining with minimal fuss and maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (226 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning (toasted sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, coarse salt)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Seedless cucumber slices (for serving)
  • Mini bagels or toasted ciabatta slices (for serving)
  • Thinly sliced radishes (for serving)
  • Cherry tomatoes (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes or microwave for 10 seconds carefully.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
  3. Stir in finely chopped chives and lemon zest if using, mixing gently.
  4. Transfer the cream cheese mixture onto a serving board or platter and spread into a rustic mound or smooth it out with a knife.
  5. Drizzle a little extra olive oil on top and sprinkle a pinch more of everything bagel seasoning for presentation.
  6. Arrange the cucumber slices, toasted bagel halves, radishes, and cherry tomatoes around the cream cheese.
  7. Serve immediately for best freshness and flavor.

Notes

Softening the cream cheese is crucial for easy mixing and spreadability. Prepare the cream cheese mixture up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerate, then bring to room temperature before serving. Fresh veggies should be cut just before serving to maintain crispness. For a vegan version, use plant-based cream cheese and vegan-friendly dippers.
