These spooky Oreo ghost truffles are a no-bake Halloween treat that’s equal parts adorable and delicious, perfect for parties or fun activities with kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (about 36 cookies) Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, melted for coating
  • Mini chocolate chips for decorating the ghost eyes
  • Optional: Sprinkles or edible glitter for extra Halloween flair

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs. Alternatively, crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a mixing bowl and add the softened cream cheese. Stir until fully combined, forming a thick dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 20 minutes to firm them up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
  6. Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. While the coating is still wet, press two mini chocolate chips onto each truffle to form the ghost’s eyes.
  8. Allow the coated truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate them for quicker results. Once the chocolate hardens, your spooky ghost truffles are ready!

Notes

Softened cream cheese blends more easily with the Oreo crumbs. Chill the truffles before dipping them in chocolate for easier handling. Add coconut oil to the melted white chocolate if it’s too thick for smoother coating.
