A gooey, indulgent dessert combining chocolate cake, Oreo cookies, and pudding—all in one pan. Perfect for any occasion and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 crushed Oreos
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  3. Place Oreos in a zip-top bag and crush them using a rolling pin or your hands.
  4. Spread the crushed Oreos evenly across the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the thickened pudding over the Oreos, covering them completely.
  6. Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the pudding layer without mixing.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the dry cake mix, covering as much surface area as possible.
  8. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the top is set but the inside remains gooey.
  10. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream for ultimate indulgence.

Notes

[“Don’t overmix the layers; the ‘dump and layer’ technique creates the signature texture.”, ‘Use room-temperature melted butter for best results.’, ‘Let the cake cool slightly after baking to help the layers set.’, ‘Customize the crunch by leaving larger Oreo chunks for texture.’]
